Pomodoro Technique: A technique which made me Productive

Time management is very important for everyone because time is the most precious thing in the world. Time flies and never comes back. So it is very important to utilize it in the best way. If one does not give importance to time then one day time will ruin him because time never waits for anyone. If one loses money then by hard work he can get it back, if one loses his love then there are chances that he can get it back but if he loses his time then he can never get it back because time can never be recovered. It shows the value of time that in this world nothing is more important then time.

But people waste their most of time and then they cry on their wasted time which led them to a failure. The reason is that they can not manage the time in this advanced world where demands from them are high. Especially teenagers fail to manage their time to complete their work due to they are doing a lot of things at a time such as they will be doing their assignment. While doing assignment they will be also using social media alongside such as Facebook and YouTube. They will also be chit chatting with their friends. These multiple activities create a mess which did not allow them to complete their assignment on time. And then they feel what they have done and what will be the cost of it. It also happens with me most of the times but after completing my this week’s online course of Amal Academy, I got to know about the Pomodoro Technique. After practically applying the technique, I successfully completed my tasks on time without wasting any of it. I will also suggest you to use it in order to manage the time.

Use of Pomodoro’s Technique

The Pomodoro’s Technique is used for time management. It was developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. It is the most useful tool to become productive from a time waster. In this technique an alarm is used to help you to remember that you have to finish the specific things on time in specific time. After learning it from the online course of Amal Fellowship, I practically applied it in my daily life to complete my different tasks. The results were very amazing. The things I did not imagined to complete on time were completed before the time. I also came to know the things which I used to do during my important tasks which sometimes made it impossible for me to complete the things on time such as using mobile phone especially Facebook for a long time. I used mobile during my work just for the dictionary purpose or to know the history of some important things in my assignments as I am student of International Relations, so it is very important for me. But instead of utilizing mobile for positive purpose I most of times waste hours on scrolling down the Facebook. But after using the Pomodoro technique I started to utilize my time. I divided my work into different steps having 25 minutes to complete each step. I made my mind to complete the step in 25 minutes and in those 25 minutes I will not use my mobile phone no matter what the circumstances are. And I was successful in doing that and then after every 25 minutes I used the phone to check the notifications and then started the next step. By doing this I reduced my time on social media from 7 hours to approximately 1 hour.

Conclusion:

So I started to work 6 hours more after applying the Pomodoro Technique. I am becoming very productive just due to this technique. And for this I am very thankful to Amal Academy which gives us such amazing online course to become a productive person. I was indeed in search of such technique to reduce my time on social media and with the help of this beautiful technique I have successfully reduced my time on social media. Everyone who have problems in time management should use this technique to become a super productive person.
